During the hay day of Rempe, I also keep hearing about Jimmy West who use to be one of best 9-ball players just wondering if I just got it wrong?

If you are talking about the Jim Weast in the recent IPT events, I know Jim Weast personally. His name is spelled correctly WEAST. He is a good player, but I have never known him to be Jim West. He is and always has been in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area as far as I know. I have known him for about 14 years.

I think you are referring to Jimmy Wetch. He was and is a top player. Now owns a poolroom in Minneapolis.

I think Jay is correct. I googled the name, I think the guy played against Efren Reyes in PBT 3 9-ball tournament finals.

Now, I have another question. Are you THE Jay Helfert?

HA HA HA HA HA. I'm sorry, I got a good laugh out of this one. I guess I'm either THE Jay Helfert or another Jay Helfert. It is the name on my drivers license.
