yeah, I've talked to the builder about that concern as well. considered about coring it out or anything to minimize or prevent humidity. the other option was pairing it with ironwood. he offered an ironwood cue though which is also nice since I can manage handling it (got a big arm now). although I'm quite fixated with the burl right now. I'm circling around the idea of Burl, Ebony, Ironwood, Rosewood and Tiger Maple.
