job relocation - where to play in east Pittsburgh?

Hello everyone,

I've been playing VNEA leagues in Indiana for almost 10 years.

Work relocated me recently to East Pittsburgh (Murrysville/Monroeville). It looks like the VNEA doesn't have much of a presence here?

Anyone know of a nearby league to my new location? BCA, TAP, etc? Also where are the good places to play by the hour and not $1 a game?

Don't know much about East Pittsburgh...but there's a pool hall, Breakers, in Dormont (just south of downtown Pittsburgh) owned by Paul Mottey. Nice Diamond tables, charges per hour, etc.

As far as leagues, there's a local BCA league called The Players League (http://www.theplayersleague.com/).

Others can probably chime in more...I work at a local university and usually just play for free there.

posting what area of Pit exactly would help more. There's Breaker's in Dormont, and Steel City Billiards just south of Pittsburgh on PA rt. 51. As far as leagues, there's APA, I'm sure BCAPL like someone posted above,and probably dozens of small,local leagues.
 
I live about 20 minutes east of Pittsburgh, in Irwin. There are APA, TAP and NAPA leagues here. If you're interested in any of them, let me know and I can help you out.
 
Never been to it, but Pinky's is in Turtle Creek, which is closer to the Monroeville area.

Steel City on 51 of course, but that's farther away.
