we must know each other, i was going down there from Vegas every 6 weeks, about when Tommys in Mesa opened, there was no action in Vegas so I would go to Glendale to my friends house, I was known by alot of people my last few trips there, my speed back then was a low 9. there was alot of $50 fair but tough action and I loved it, I did lose there sometimes but never went home loser on a 5-8 day trip.

If you and everyone reading this thread will send me $9.50, I'll see if I can set up a Josh O'Neil vs Allison Fisher match....
Doug
( it's going to cost you more IF they both agree to show up, though ) :)

I'm afraid if I send you $9.50 it would most likely end up at the China Buffet, rather than Josh or Allies pocket.:)

it was the greatest pool hall ever 24 hours 7 days a week action every day ,a lot of 50 and 100 sets but everybody got down some way or another ,there was a constant flow of all groups of people there ,it was incredible just to have them all in one place,i made several good scores there i had some good clients it was amazing, pool was on the rise then they couldnt get enough, girls all shapes and sizes ,need to get your number does scooby have it, like to here what your up to .wonder if i tried to take you off, if we ever gambled?probaly not i would have put some player on you most likely ha ha talk to you some day later

Bobby Pickle

From what I had heard last Bobby was back at home laying down. A friend of his had told me they had been having some long nights and it caught up with him. I saw him fall out and I have to say it was worrysome. I later heard from another person that he had a heart attack. This is just what I heard however. Regardless for those of you that pray it wouldn't hurt a thing to mention him.
As far as the tournament there was of course some of the best in the world there. Shane to me was playing the best of all as expected by others. Jeremy Hart was hittting them sporty to have bought himself for 10 dollars in the first calcutta, I think he finished 5/6th. Good job. Tommy D' beat Bobby Pickle after a long ahead set. Bobby just didn't break the balls well. Tommy is a good player and if you can't string a few together he's near impossible to beat because he does break the balls good.
There really wasn't as much action as I expected but it was fun and I'd like to thank JOB's for hosting a tourny like that. Their staff was great. They would stay there most of the night and be tired and still be as nice as the could be. Those of you that didn't go should next year if you can.

does anyone know who won in the open division between:

Jeremy Hart v. Chris Bartrum
Tony Fargo v. Gabe Apollos

A quick update, I have been told that the following match-ups are left in the open:
Ronnie Wiseman and Tommy D'Alfonso for the hot seat
and the one-loss side Shane Van Boening and Alex Pagulayan.

The women's division is playing out the finals between Sarah Rousey and Grace Nakamura.

CONGRATULATIONS SARAH! Way to go.
