Joe Porper Case

I am starting to lean towards either a Porper 3X6 or a Sterling 3X6 case. With the Guiseppe 3X6 coming in third place.

What is the warranty on the Porper Cases?

I know what you're saying about the rattling and I hate it. This is why I like Instroke (and I guess same goes to JB cases) they are padded better then any other tube case and the cues don't rattle that much. In fact when you shake an Instroke case you hardly hear the cues rattle.

The new Sterling cases are padded at the top and bottom to prevent the cues from rattling.

I'd like to go on record as saying that I don't like the wedge effect of the cases with tapered cavities. In my own Porpers my cues would go farther and farther in as they compressed the hard foam walls even further. It ended up that I had to bang the edge of the case on the edge of a table and hold my hand under the case at the same time to hopefully catch the cue when it released.

Porper does make straight cavity cases where the cue can go in either direction.

I also want to give a major shout out to Joe Porper. His was the first hard case I ever owned. I know that we are competitors and all but Joe and Brigitte are some of the finest folks in the business. You really can't go wrong with a Porper and like Ryan said, they stand behind their products.

I had a Porper 4 x 8 that I was not happy with. The foam inside the lid got tore up and come off, and the flimsy shoulder strap he had on it (cut into your shoulder).

Here is your 3 x 5, and the price is actually $95, not $100.
(I have one similiar to this and it is fine - The shoulder strap is wide and padded, industrial rubber handle is the nuts, jump butt pocket, cues can go in either way, butts are spring loaded, crocodile finish to it)

Plus I got my brother a 2 x 4 Elite case, and he is happy with it.

Porper is the champion of lite weight cases. I have 1x2, 2x4, an 3x6 an I love em all, reasonably priced, great warranty an made in America. I have leather cases as well but if you got to a big tourney like DCC were a lot of walking is the order of the day. I always take my Porper.

Just got my Sterling 3x5 today. They had it shipped to my house 2 days after ordering at no extra charge since they were out of the other case I wanted. I gotta say I do love this case. Butts and shafts can go in the case either way, there is plenty of padding at the top so they don't rattle and I like the auto closing latches on it. I wouldn't of ordered the leather case except for the fact that they gave me 25% off for my troubles which they didn't have to do, but they did gain a new customer because of it.

Great looking case! I ordered last night a 3X6 Sterling (not the leather one but (I believe) the vinyl one) from Billiard Warehouse.

I definitely will post my opinion on it. I ordered a new j/b from Seyberts last night as well. I am hoping my new case comes in first!
