Joe Porper Custom Cue w/ broken shafts

Proper cue

First I'd like to say you have a nice cue and I'd hang on to it since it belonged to your father. I just can't figure some people out, why in the world would anyone snap the shafts on such a nice cue? My suggestion is to get some shafts for this cue and enjoy it.

That's exactly what I'm gonna do. I couldn't get rid of it if I had to. And yeah some people are idiots, at least they didn't take it or ruin the butt. What they did ruin can be easily enough replaced I see now. For some reason I thought it would be super expensive to have shafts made for it reusing the ringwork but I have come to find out it's not so bad. There's a shaft that my mom was using on it that I actually really like but the ringwork is just the basic black and silver. I'm using it for now until I get the new shafts. I couldn't resist. And the cue feels perfect. The balance point and weight are exactly how I would have had it made for myself.

Rock

Hi,
The stone appears to be granite or gneiss. The white material is quartz, the dark likely hornblende. You could sand the stone with diamond paste or any other abrasive harder than the quartz.
Nice cue, but being a rock hugger, I prefer my stones on the ground.
Take care,
Nick
