Up for grabs is a 2012 Mighty Cue made by Joe Young. I picked this up from him a few months back and its been sitting in my case for a little while and I figured I'd give you guys a shot to hit with this one.

This cue has some of the nicest bacote wood I've seen, it has amazing figure and depth. The cue hits fantastic with great balance and feedback. It has a pressed black linen wrap.

It is straight both together and apart.

Butt 15.3 oz
Shaft 3.7 oz and 12.75 mm not sure of the ferrul materal
Joint pin 3/8x10
I'm not sure of the joint material, but I know its not ivory.

I'm not sure what Joe's cue go for since he doesn't have that many out there for sale so honestly, make me an offer. As long as it's reasonable I'll probably take it.

Any question feel free to PM me.

Will

Thanks for the compliments Will. That cue originally sold for $450. I hope you're doing well, good luck with the sale!

I'm Sure Mighty Cues Are As Fine As The Builder Himself!

Will,

This cue, indeed, has some beautiful bacote. I like the specs too. Joe Young is the go-to guy in my area (South Jersey) for all things cue-related. He's a multi-faceted individual as co-owner of a popular billiards hall, expert cue repairman, and now a talented cuemaker. He's also a top-level player, and most people could learn a thing or two from watching him play the game we love. Finally, Joe's one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet; kind, pleasant-mannered, and, in short, a very likable person to do business with.

I see that you've also started another thread for this cue, and it's a great idea to generate some user feedback regarding Joe's cues, as seen here: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=334691&highlight=young

In closing, GLWS. I look forward to seeing some user reviews of this cue at the aforementioned link, and plan on hitting some balls with one of Joe Young's cues (Mighty Custom Cues) the next time I see him at a local billiards event. Or perhaps at his pool hall, which I've not yet had the pleasure to visit, but will do so in the near future.

Regards,

Glen (strum4u)
