Just wanted to give people an update on the tournament.

Date: April 17-19 noon start on Friday

Location: Oceanview Billiards, Campbell River BC

Entry: $150 $25 Green fee included

Prize money: $5,000 Garunteed added

Calcutta: Will start at noon Friday

Tables: 10 Goldenwest Tables (comparable to Olhausen)

Cloth: Tour edition Championship cloth

Hotel discount: Coast hotels 1-800-716-6199 (mention John Bear Memorial)

Entries so far: 42 (96 player limit)

I see they are different dates... Don't know why I thought they got scheduled for the same weekend.

Yeah the Bill Ganne tournament is a weekend before this one. Should be a good 2 events for the full time players. Since it seems like pool is slowing down on the west coast.
 
We are currently sitting at 59 players with 3 days left to enter, should be a good tournament, with a lot of big names coming.
