John Bender is a New Jersey cuemaker who is mentored by Richard Black. His work is distinctly his own however, and stands out from Mr Black's, or the other "Bender" cuemakers, Mike and Matt. (no relation)
John has learned to manage a cue's balance, in my opinion, to create a special playability. I find the cue makes me feel more confident; it pockets balls with great consistency and predictability and when I want to, I can generate plenty of spin.
