Just happen to see this on YouTube. Don't recall seeing it commented on.
820 just 12 balls short of Shaw. I love straight pool but don't think I can watch 3 hours and 48 minutes.

I watched it over a couple days. It was pretty good, actually. SSOP has a nice video on it also.

Oh, I most likely did see that thread but just didn't remember or just assumed they were talking about one of John's runs but not a new one.
Be fun to see John play Shaw a match game, say a thousand point catch up match.

I don't think either one plays straight pool really better than the other, other than I do believe John plays a technically better game. I would probably bet on him.

I just watched the end of the run cuz I was curious what he misses. He misses a 10 in the side that skidded worse than any shot I've ever seen. The ball spun like a top and missed by inches.
I think on John's deathbed his final words will be,
I swear, it skidded.
