John Slagel Cues?

I came across a custom cue for sale with no markings but was told the maker is named John Slagel. After a couple quick google searches nothing came up. I’m pretty big into custom cues and have never heard of the guy. Must be a low key local cue makers. The cue is very well made 6 point with no inlays and decently nice ringwork. Any info about him or his cues would be greatly appreciated.
