You cored the koa cue with maple? How did you like working with the stabilized koa? Harder than normal wood?

Hard for sure kind of like cutting frozen clay lol and I had to take many many small cuts, it was so hard that it was actually brittle in the figure of the wood. it took some special attention and care. and yes it was cored if not this would have been a 30 ounce cue lol wood is very heavy stuff it must have really sucked up the stabilizer.
