p.s. if anyone wants a tibbits they might now have a chance as he has been selling only to john for a long time.[/QUOTE said:Doubt that. Danny has always had a line behind John ready to buy anything he builds and he doesn't build but a few cues a year.
Thanks for all your input and I only knew John alittle and had bought a few cues from him over the last 4 years, but knew he was a fine cue dealer along with Joe,Dick,Mark, and a few others.OldHasBeen said:I met John About 10 years ago when I wanted my Balabushka authenticated. I asked everyone in the pool world who is THE BEST to do this for me. The response was unanimous. JOHN!
While in his basement in the room with the pool table, he asked me to leave the room. He had my stick all apart. He wanted to make a secret mark inside that only he would know about & make a record of it.
I was very impressed with his knowledge and system. He wanted me to go out to dinner with him and then to the poolroom to play some locals but I was in a big hurry to return to St. Louis. I wish now I would have taken the time to get to know him better. He seemed like a truly nice man.
God-Speed to John!
