Johnny-9, Shane-10.......enlighten me

I have read posts a few times on here rating Archer as #1 American in 9-ball and SVB as the man in 10-ball.

I know 10-ball is tougher, but these are both great pros.

Why the difference?

I dont think either one is a big favorite over the other in either game but Shanes 10 ball break is the reason he is the favorite in 10 ball.I could be wrong but i think that is why people are saying that

SVB breaks 10 ball much better than JA.

JA is a more seasoned tested player, so all things being equal he is the stronger player-for a couple more years, at which point SVB will pass him up. Shane is THE American player for sure. Wu might be THE player of the future,
