joint comparison

Question folks, are the Uniloc and the VP2 joints compatible/interchangeable? If not, what differs?

I gave it an effort and ended up in the same place you seem to be.

That said, most small parts retailers I see do list them as separate products.

I guess I will have to buy a shaft insert and see if it fits... needless expense, dammit. One of my major frustrations as a cuemaker is the plethora of joint screws in the industry. I get continual requests for shafts to fit xyz butts that would require me to stock probably a dozen different taps etc.

Ive seen joint protectors for the vp2 and I think they were $60. Not saving!
