Anyone know what kind of material is on Efren Reyes's playing cue? I've noticed that the shaft collar is black and the joint collar is somewhat different in color.

Is that still the Judd that he's been using?

Judd JT1.
The shaft has a black collar b/c it comes from another cue Judd made him. It was an ebony cue and Efren liked the JT1 better. But, he liked the shaft on the ebony cue.
Both are phenolic collars with a flat 5/16 14 pin.
Also, Efren is very superstitous. He told me black is a lucky color.

Thanks. I thought it was a woodjoint, but looks like natural linen phenolic.

I was thinking tha shaft was from the cue he won the world championships from.

He's breakin pretty well with the AG cue I heard. He should win this years WPC inTaipeh

I believe that break cue is a Taiwan made Andy cue. Not Gilbert.

Really? Taiwan made? I read in a forum somewhere that he was breaking with an Andy Gilbert jump/break cue...

Wrong info I suppose... It's certainly looks like a production with a sneaky pete look... works for him though
