Thanks guys for the replies, as it turns out this cue is not worth saving. I didn't know at the time because the picture posted was sent to me by the owner but I got to actually see the cue today and its a "Wynn" cue, inexpensive, poor quality Chinese import from what I understand and the work the owner was looking to have done would cost far more than what its worth and nearly as much as it would cost for him to buy a half way decent replacement cue.
