Ok, Fiance says she will buy me a set of JP's if the price is reasonable and it goes for part of my xmas.

I am looking for something exotic but not tooo fancy and expensive.

Pin size: 3/8x10 (Mcdermott cue)

Woods: any but something that will catch my eye

Price desired to pay: b/w 10-35$ ( i know it cheap but Fiance pretty strict)


I dont particularly care for the plastic Delrin protectors and I much love the look of the would.


Those Kenny Murrell Ebony with the Burl diamond is awsome.

So if anyone has any custom wood JP's that are willing to let go within that price range please let me know.


Now I will not jump on the very first offer within the range as I will kinda be picky on the looks but if all else fails. I'll go with the price......
 
I know you are in the Mamou, LA area. Mike Derouen in New Iberia, who makes Kelly Cues, will make you a custom set for 20-30. You can hook up with him, show him your cue, and he will make a set that matches it pretty well. He made a set for one of my buddies for a Schick cue. The cue is made of purpleheart and ebony. The JPs matched nicely, and he got them in about a week and a half.

He's a really nice guy, an he makes a hell of a cue for the money.
 
Wow Cuenut I never new there was a make that close.....New Iberia is only like hour and half from Mamou give or take. I dont head there often......Is there anyway I can email him?

I don't know if he is back online yet. A Tree fell on his home during Rita and almost totalled it.

You might be able to get his contact info from Preston Granger if he comes around, as I believe Mike plays APA, and I know, via your thread about your league operator's wife that you can figure out how to get to Preston.

Ah sweet. At the moment Im in Metairie but head towards Mamou every other week......one of main reasons being 9Ball on Thursday Nights :P


I need to go hit up White Diamonds again. I love it there. even if it is sorta High Priced...
