Joint ring material help

I need to order material to fix a broken black joint ring on a Viking cue. It's been awhile since I've had to order the material from atlas and wanted help in the best choice material to get please. Would PVC or ABS work? Thank you all for your help. Ron

I like the Jet Phen black material from Guitar Parts and More better than Atlas’s black phenolic. I think it is easier to work with a d polished up better.

Does the jet black phenolic show any of the canvas pattern/weave or does it look like the smooth plastic? Thank you

Smooth plastic with no pattern.

I agree with the Jet Phen, as it is very strong. The ABS, PVC, Juma etc. will probably break as the original did.

The black Linen Phenolic (solid) Rod from Atlas is still a good product. And a little stronger than the Jet-Phen. Which could be a factor for a piece that small.
