This is a table mechanic section. You should repost this in the Ask the Cuemaker section. They will be able to help you there.

Nope wont work.Ive heard of people retapping them but makes for a sloppy fit.Option 1:Get a new shaft made. Option2: drill it,plug it,re-drill it and retap to the correct thread.

NO, it's one more turn in the 3/8x11 then in the 3/8x10 at least I think I learned that in math class.., It will go in if you force it but it will destroy the threads , get the correct shaft or take it to a repairman, have it done right<<ED
