P PetToilet AzB Silver Member Silver Member May 10, 2009 #5 there are a couple, the most vocal are those that prefer big pin wood to wood joints (3/8") due to no insert, more contact area. Oddly enough when stainless steel vs phenolic, wood to wood joints come up, ss comes out on top.
