I have a pretty fancy ebony Josey Sneaky Pete for sale.

1. The cue was completed right at the end of September 2005. I ordered the cue from Josey.

2. This is one of the first cues with the new cocobolo rings. It has the spearpoints on the ends of the points.

3. I will weigh the cue tonight. I believe it is about 19-19.5oz. The cue comes with one 13mm shaft.

4. It is a stiff hitting cue that I really enjoyed. No dings or nicks in either shaft or butt.

I played with the cue for a few weeks and it is now for sale. I have switched back to an ivory ferruled cue.

I also have a P2 for sale that I purchased from Seyberts last November. It is 19oz and comes with 1 Z shaft. The cue is metallic black with no wrap.

The P2 is $400 shipped.

I am new to posting photos here. I just put them in a yahoo gallery. Just PM me if you have any questions. I have 100% feedback on ebay and I verified on Paypal.

Josey has a beefy taper on this one. It is stiff, but not crazy. It is a thicker taper than most cues I have seen esp. nearer the joint. The cue hits really solid. I have a moori medium on there. If I did not have so many cues I would keep this one.

His wife told me that this was the first one that he did with the new cocobolo rings. The only other distinguishing thing about this one is that the wood in the nose is darker than usual. All of the ebony butts he had made up were this darker color. It really does make it stand out though. You can tell it is a Josey from across a room.

Sounds pretty good, but I can't play a lick with a thick taper. I'm a big fan of a thin and long taper, my Scruggs has a 12,5mm tip and a perrrfect taper. So unfortunately, I have to pass this Josey.

You happen to know what kind of taper Josey cues have in general ? I'd love to get a cue from him, but can't spend over $400...

I don't know much about his regular tapers. I am sure that he will build you what you want though as he has been around and probably has seen it all. I have hit with a couple of his cues and they all seem consistent to me. Thanks for your interest.

P2 is sold. Josey is still available.

The P2 has been sold. Thanks for all the emails in regard to it. The Josey is still available.

If anyone is interested in Rick Howard cues I have a plain jane birdeye with a leather croc wrap. Simple ring packs. 2 13mm shafts with his linen ferrules. 19oz. with Rick's signature on it. It has, at the most, about 4 hours of play on it. $600.

> I might know someone that would be interested in the Josey, but he's on the road driving a truck and it might be a week or so before I can contact him. By the way I have a Rick Howard cue too,the broken one Highroller dug out of the trash,I bought it to learn from,LOL. Tommy D.

Tommy- just let me know. We know of each other from Highpockets in Memphis. Always good to hear from you.
