as some may already know i bought a Joss Cue recently, and it was delivered last tuesday. i dont really like it, would like to sell it. see the For Sale/Wanted Forum.

anyway, if i cant sell it, would this be a bad idea? it has a 13.25 mm shaft, and i was thinking why not just put a slightly harder tip on this Joss and just use it as a break cue?

is that feasible?
or not wise?

can somebody enlighten me here?
is this not a decent idea for a break cue?
if i dont sell it on EBay i might as well get some use out of it.

Your lack of patience is on par with your lack of temper control. You can turn ANY cue into a break cue if you so desire, just start breaking with it. If it does a great job, then put it on the first team. If not, get another one. Since you don't want to try reweighting the Joss and putting a new tip on to play with it, sell it and buy a Sledgehammer J/B cue. You will have a better break cue, plus jump, and somebody else out there will have a better playing cue.

I think it's a good idea. I have a Predator BK and honestly I see little difference between the stiff, fat-shafted Joss with a hard tip and the BK. I had one Joss and got rid of it in a few months - they are not for me either. The guy I traded it to made it into a break cue!
