shaft...............

I got this brand new and have not hit a ball with it. It came with a shaft with no markings and the gold letters are on the butt only? I have seen a few of these type of cues and I have not seen any of them come with a gold letter shaft?
 
Gotcha...Looks like the shafts for these cues were never "Gold Lettered". Time to consider!
