A friend of mine wanted me to post some pictures of one of his cues. He just had this Joss Professional refinished by Danny Janes. He is looking to see what it is worth, made or any other information about this cue. He would also consider all offers or trades for a possible transaction. Thanks.

that joss... i cant tell you exactly what year it was made. but i would say early 90's. i think 1998 they changed the logo placement to the buttcleeve and started using the hand making the cue bridge... i would say give or take.. the cue is probaly worth 300 to 350 bux.. its kinda plain in the forearn.. you may even get close to $400 is you find the right buyer..

just my opinion...

Normally I would agree with Chris, but this time I'd say less, since I don't believe the shaft is original.

Gold Letter Joss Collectors look for the gold letters to match up on both the cue and the shaft. Since this one doesn't, or doesn't have the gold letters on the shaft. I would say $250 or less.

Then again, Chris could be right. It just depends on the auction and if the right set of buyers notice it.

you know.. i didnt even notice that.. there is alot of people who say the gold letter shafts were the best that Joss ever made... and having a gold letter cue way back when and having a newer one.. i could believe it..
and there is alot of people who that being not the orginal shaft would probably be turned off by it not being orginal..

thanks for pointing that out jim.. i just gave it a quick look..

I'd say 275 and 375 if it had the original shaft. Just depends on who lives around you that likes joss cues.

The gold letter shafts are wonderful if you can find them close to 12.75 which is hard.

Sold a old gold letter plain jane, with original shaft, for 200, and it took awhile to get that out of it.
