Curious what this cue is worth. it should be noted that I had Tim Scruggs refinish it and make the two shafts that are with it. So it's not original. But working w/Stroud was less than satisfactory, so this is the path I took.

That said, besides what people think its worth as is (which is in excellent condition), would it matter much if I had Stroud re-re-finish it, getting the sideways JW back on the buttplate, and having him make two shafts. My guess at the time, and now, is that its not worth the hassle or effort.

Don't know about the value, but pretty sure Bill has retired. Had a somewhat similar experience when I sent a early 80's model in for a refinish. Came back with a different colored wrap and no longer had the sideways W. Too pissed at the time to even call him back. Might give Will Prout a PM. I asked the same about my cue and he didn't seem to think the sideways W not being there would affect the value.
