My first Major cue, bought used in like 85,...a Schon.
I played with it for 25+ years and kicked myself after I sold it a year or 2 ago.
I really liked the butt end of the cue....
It inspired my custom made cue I just got from Carmeli, I drew it out on a cocktail napkin...and sent it to him, and here it is in the flesh!!!

Great looking cue....I really miss a few of the older Schon cues I had years ago. My all time favorite was a SL21 from around the same time period as yours. Good luck with your new cue.

Thanks for the compliments guys...yes, it turned out exactly how I hoped-it has the feel I was looking for, he made me a 314 to match also.

I told him that I wanted the cue to have an overwhelming amount of ivory, he suggested the snake wood, ...i asked for some mother of pearl in the points, and he wrapped them in siilver on his own...i asked for a leather wrap, and he said, it needs elephant ear, and he upgraded it for me at no charge. Ariel kind of got attached to the cue while he was building it...that was pretty cool seeing him take that kind of pride in his work. I paid alot for the cue, but its my creation...and i dont miss my schon as much, lol,... it's pretty, and it shoots lights out...
Although I'm afraid to take it anywhere.
