I believe Joven got some potential, but there are two weakness in his game that I didn't fail to notice everytime. when he is on the verge of a run-out and the easiest table layout, he always chokes. forget all those wonderful shots that he made before that if he can't even finish it.
call it precognition, but certainly I could tell that he scratches the CB on the sidepockets more often than not. it's almost automatic that certainly he would scratch the CB. I don't think that I'm jinx'ing him but he makes those mistakes of putting unnessary spin on the CB just to get position on the next OB, even if he could just played it simple as using the basic principle of natural angle (no need for fancy english). I dunno why he keeps on choosing to bounce the CB on the middle side rails while he could play the next shot OB via longshot without any problem.
I've seen this happening a lot of times now. and I say to myself, this kid is wasting winable matches everytime. as if he wants to lose. I dunno if some of you notice this also. but is really frustrating. I just hope Joven finally learns something or keep on repeating the same mistakes, over and over again.
