JR-5 JIMMY REMPE BY MEUCCI cue (for sale, or trade)

I have a JR-5 JIMMY REMPE BY MEUCCI cue (for sale, or trade).

The cue appears to have been hand signed by Jimmy Rempe, and I am not sure if it is a real signature (or just something that Meucci manufactured).

I do not have a blue book of cues, so I am not sure of the value of the cue.

The cue is in very good condition.

The wrap is exposed (not finished over), and I think that this is very rare for a Meucci cue.

I would really like to know what the cue is worth (If anyone knows the value of the cue), and I am very curious when the cue was made by Meucci.

I am also curious about what the inlays are made out of.

Thank you for any information that anyone has about the cue.

I would like to know more information about the cue (before selling, or trading it).

Thank you.

Rempe

I don't think that Meucci ever had anything added like the signature, I could be wrong, but I have never seen one Mfged. with a signature. If it is in excellent condition with no wobble in the shaft or butt and no dings dents or nicks and hits solid I think $500 is not unreasonable. If it has been plyed maybe slightly less. There are Meucci people out there that buy these cues up I think their newer stuff is not as well made makes these older cues even more desirable. Good Luck!

Jr 5

there were 2 jr5 on ebay not long ago i think that no one of those went over 300us dollars

Hi,

The signature appears to be under the finish, but I do not know how to be sure (unless I use something like Goo Gone cleaner to try to remove it). Thank you.

looks like his real signature.. jim rempe is from around my area.. and i once had a meucci that he hand signed and he used a sharpee just like that.. if i can find a picture of it, i will post it...

this 1 was on the bay... looks like is sigmature

but i t is after market signature ,this 1 sold around 250-275

As that cue sits your looking at around 300 from a meucci collector (like me) and slifhtly less on ebay. If you can provide documentation or verification of the signature that will almost surely add another hundred.

If I had spare cash I would make an offer but I just bought an Earl Strickland meucci.... Maybe if you still have it in a month

is this cue still available

just checking to see if the cue was still here and what the price is?
