True, but everyone doesn't play league, and singles are on Thursday and Friday which leaves Saturday open for Zacks tournament (unless they're on a team), which is cool. I know several players who are going down for singles and coming back up for this 9-ball tournament though. FYI, there is a State BCA thread: talk about it there not here, thanks. Be cool about it.

Zack wants to do a ring game on the 8 ft. tables on Friday night if interested 8:00 PM - 2:00 AM:

$20 a man first one to 15pts(six to a table max)
A++ players will go to 20 Points.
Point on the 5 and 2 points on the 10.
There will be more than one table available if need be. Let us know.
Call Zack if you need help finding a room.
If you just want action it can and will be arranged, just call in advance, and give the dollar amount.
 
Just out of curiosity, why two points on the 10? In my experience, it's much easier to get to the 10 than the 5. :p
 
So there are players coming from Sherman, Jackson, Waco, and Abilene. Is anyone else coming from out of town? Still looking for ring game players. Some players have stated that they're interested in action.
 
Well even though the State BCA is this weekend it looks like we should still have 20-30 on the low end. Everyone needs to remind all those individuals that said they were coming that the tournament is this weekend, sometimes they forget.

Don't forget!! Take a chance and snap this one off. Most of the tougher players will be robbing all of those league all-stars this weekend. It will be a tough field so come and join us, and remember the player's meeting is at NOON on the dot at the SMOKEHOUSE(come hungry please). Don't call Zack and say I'm running late, please be on time. The pool room will open at 11:00 AM.

out of towners ?

Did all you guys read the handicap part ? LPAC, please tell us how the Abilene / Jacksonville crowd will be handicapped ? Will everyone be rated A or A+ if they are truly unknown. I figure Zack knows some or most of the others. Will he have the list printed out for viewing before the player's meeting ? This may be a lot to ask, for a first tournament but that would be good for future events.
 
Most of these guys have already been to Zack's tournaments in the past. If Zack doesn't know someone they start off as an A+...No one has ever had a problem with that. Zack has only been in Texas for about 5 years, but he travels a lot and knows a lot of the better players. No under the radar player problems with this tournament. Zack is fair and if an obvious adjustment needs to be made he has always taken care of it.

Last time Zack was doing his tournament he had a book or something that listed all the masters and above in the United States or World, something like that.

is there more to that list? I should have been on there....but then again, I only played one of his tournaments....and I had a friend that played one of his tournaments too. I guess you have to play a couple to be on there? I might be coming this weekend, but I won't know until Friday probably. I have other things in the works that are keeping me from knowing yet....
 
It's on there now. Looking good, Zack still isn't sure who all is coming from Waco. Call everyone you know and invite them. Action will be slower this weekend with the BCA tourney in all your hometowns so everyone needs to meet up in one place..

i was going to the BCA thing but i come out cheaper going to this event plus a better chance of making good money one day rather than two day event.I have been screwed out money before playing league.
