Hey Cuemakers!
I bought a Jt-1 from a guy on here. When I bought it the seller informed me of a slight roll in the butt section. He said he had it spun on a lathe and that it was straight on there. He thought it was a lift in the ringwork.

The lift was more than ringwork can cause. It seems to be in the front piece of the butt. Is there anything that can be done or is it fire wood?

Take it Al upstairs and have him look at it between centers
on his lathe.

Return it to the seller for a refund.

You can also contact Lennart Haag in Sweden and ask how much it would cost to fix it. I can't post links but haagcues is easy to google.

If you are going to play with it, a bit of "warp" is not going to affect the playability.

Also, you can probably get a cue maker to face the butt and shaft.
