Judd Trump continued his quest for glory at the US Open Pool Championship with a 9-2 victory over Dhruvalkumar Patel in the winners' round one of the elite nine-ball tournament in Atlantic City on Tuesday. The 2019 world champion whitewashed Joe Magee 9-0 in his opening match on Monday and will next face Abdullah Al-Shammari in the winners' round two in the race to 11 racks on Wednesday. :​

I read a post from Charlie Williams the ex non playing US captain and player for the team at the Mosconi Cup asking what is this all about a Snooker player is 6/1 Fav for the US Pool Open 2021 . Well if you took those odds you must be a mug and in the commentator box Jeremy said out of 200+ players who started the event he could nominate anywhere between 30 - 40 players that could win the event .

Alex Pagulayan tried without success to gain a season ticket on the Snooker tour and that was when he was on top of his game so if you think you can cross Billiard events and instant success your a mug . It takes years of practise .

Might as well stay the distance in this event now we have went this far . skybet only offered odds for Judd Trump matches and on Shane van Boening match . I can see the event on TV via an Amazon Firestick but haven't found a streamlink .

Lucky if I've watched half the left in field of the last 16 players but we continue.....
