July Drawing?

Wondering if there is a drawing this month for the Gold members? Don't recall seeing anything but I could have missed it. Thanks
 
I haven't seen anything but maybe it's on summer hiatus. I have no doubts that Jerry will catch up at some point, even if multiple drawings are done. The drawing is a plus and fun to watch but if one isn't performed, no big deal......the Forum still deserves our paid membership support. It's amazing to see how many free members sell a shit load of stuff on the Forum but won't belly up a dime for a paid membership.

Personally, when I look to buy a cue on the Forum, I'll browse all the threads but only concentrate on cues for sale posted by other Gold Members. I have a higher level of confidence in doing business with this category of Azer but obviously there's risks to buying cues from someone else.......anyone else......but for me, less so with another Gold Member..........although it still could happen, the odds are much more favorable the cue will be as advertised and described when the seller is a Gold Member.....in my opinion. The free drawings are a hoot but not the principal reason for becoming a paid member.

Agree I would be a member and contribute regardless of the drawings. I never win free stuff anyway. For some reason it was just going through my mind.
 
I'm one of the ten (10) buyers of the Jerry Rauenzahn Balabushka cues that has a free cue drawing on July 3rd. It was exciting to get in on the project and the thought of winning a cue is a plus but it really doesn't matter in the least anymore.

All the excitement was on the front end of this project picking which design to have built and winning a cue is not important....it's really now just an afterthought.......I do not care which of the other 9 buyers win the drawing and best of luck to them all.

Same way with the Forum......the drawings are fun but aren't needed or necessary......trying to help the Forum with financial support is the decent thing to do and for sellers of merchandise, I also think it's also the right thing to do. Heck, anyone selling any pool cue should have to pay the Forum a small fee , just like ebay, when they aren't a Gold Member.....say $5.00 per cue......Remember that nothing in life is free so why should the Forum become an exception?

The BCA Trade Show had everyone's attention this month. The drawing will return this month. Seeking prizes this week.
