Juma ring billets

Has anyone tried using Juma rod for ring billets? Specifically I am thinking of .025" brass or silver stitch rings but am also curious how it glues with other materials. I have always used wood or phenolic but would like to have the option of Juma for white rings.

ive used it with works fine.

I have as well, for both solid white rings, and for the strips in stitched rings.

When making the solid white rings, I had to use a parting tool instead of a slitting saw while parting the rings off, and I had to blow air while doing that to prevent any distortion/warping.
