any suggestions on a jump break cue. have two in mind McDermott stinger and pure x
jump/break cues

Not sure how much you were looking to spend, but I see a lot of positive reviews on the Predator BK3, Alex Brick's break/jump cue, and Mezz's break cue.

Love my Andy Gilbert, if you're looking to spend that kind of money and want a jump/break then I would highly recommend it.
If I wasn't going with that, an Alex Brick would be high on my list for a jump/break.
Don't really love any other jump/breaks and I would probably just get a cheap J&J if the above are out of the price range.
I still use my Jacoby jump cue though as it does jump better for short quick jumps. So I would consider a straight break cue like an OB or Predator if I was doing it again.

I just ordered an Alex Brick but the USPS seems to have lost it and it's not arrived yet to review, I have however used my friends Mike Gulyassy J/B and all I can say is WOW!!! It murders racks. That cue was a predecessor to the Gulyassy Sledgehammer. I couldn't find a Gulyassy so I'm trying the Brick because of the great things people have said about them. I will say, the Gulyassy was the HARDEST hitting break cue I've ever used.
