The new Samsara jump/break cue is a really super playing cue. The new composition ferrule/tip combo holds chalk really well, and you can apply english on the break with no problem. The cueball just springs off the tip and really explodes the rack.

I switched from my J&J to my jacoby the other day just for kicks and im hitting em softer and still getting the same spread or better. Hittin em softer too allows me to controls the cb better too. its a win win

It depends on whether you want one now or are willing to order a custom.
I know there are alot of great cue makers out there that produce a high quality jump/break cue. But I got to givr props to a fellow az'er who has been making cues for only a short time....camargored.
I have had the oppurtunity to try out over 15-20 different quality jump breaks as well as jump cues. All jump/break cues fo their job for the most part but, again, it depends on what YOU like.
Bill, aka camargored, makes a great jump/break witha tip he made himself. They are inexpensive and only get better with every cue he puts out.
Just my opinion here. You would not be disappointed if you decided to give this new cue maker a try.

I am going to jump up and give another shout to Andy Gilbert. I have a cocobolo/ maple with the SW style rings and it the the very first and only J/B combo that I could stand breaking with. I changed one thing with mine though, I swapped out the leather tip that came on it to a White Diamond and I wont go back.
One thing you need to remember with the WD on it though is you had better hit the ball square and as level as possible or that CB is going for a ride lol.:thumbup:

i just went to steve lomaxs shop and looked at some of his cues. i ordered a new jump break from him. i think they are the best on the market today.
Ditto,I can't afford one but a guy at the hall has one and I showed him how to jump with it,it has been the best break/jump I have used so far. Have not used a Mace or Scorpion nor a Varney. I heard Varneys are great cues from everyone. I own a J&J and it does me fine. Only my opinion.
