im asking the cuemakers this question
even if you dont make them im more interested in what would you do
can a jump break perform as well
as a separate jumper and a separate breaker
also any spec guidelines you would recommend??

i think i responded to this once already but.....

i think 2 seperate cues perform better than a jump break.

I think you can get both in one cue to play close enough to individual dedicated cues that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Both need very firm tips and stiff shafts for optimal performance. Both should also be light. It should be easier to get a j/b cue to perform as well as any break cue, but not quite the same as having a dedicated jump cue.
