Wow is that acrylic? It looks like it'd scratch the Hell out of your shaft if you actually put enough force to jump a ball. Maybe they'll come out with a nice leather-lined one? Hah, probably not.

I don't know how well or how bad the cue slides against the bridge, but I'm sure the inventor is working on that detail.

I do know his theory works, because the design definitely gives you some heighth & stroking length.

One problem would be this scenario...
If the cue ball is under the lights, a steep angle might prohibit the cue stick's length between the table & the lights. Most lights are hung at app'x 30 inches above the table. The minimum length for a jump cue is 41 inches.

I have never used this product or stacked bridges but i have had to Jump with a bridge before. I used the Moosehorn looking bridge that has all different heights. Even the highest wasn't quite high enough though. I think this bridge would really help my jump game though. The main problem i have with jump shots is 'Sighting' them, and i think if i could pull my bridge hand out of the equation and just look down the shaft i could jump a little better.

41 inches long held at 45 degrees would put the butt end at nearly 29 inches, fyi.

I have used the jump bridge and it makes jumping incredibly easy. It does not scratch the shaft. I am not sure of the legality of the bridge but I cannot find anything that specifies the length a bridge must be.

Lunchmoney

I prefer the just-a-bridge instead. Soft felt lined sliding piece to stroke my cue through and can get to ALL different angles. It goes in my bag.

Shorty

That sounds about right Zack, but what about the back stroke???
:p
:D:D:D

Just a little note ...

The minimum for a jump stick is 40", not 41".

The ones that are 40" will usually have a little something on the end
of the butt so that they are 1/4" over 40" so it will not be in dispute
in a tournament.
