I was giving up the 7 out last night for $50 a set, and was left with this shot on the 7. I knew if I didnt at least hit the 7, it would be game over. I ended up jumping the 8, making the 7, and the cue ball came back up table and made the 8. All with perfect shape on the 9. I can't remeber the last time I've made a shot like this.

Yeah, your prob right. At that point I think I was up 3-0, racing to 5 so I didnt mind taking a risk.

I was just joking about the kicking part. There was a whole thread last week about how jump cues don't belong in 9 ball. It was a great shot and you made the right decision.

Jumping with a full cue was,is and will be part of the game.
Don't forget the ball jumps on almost every shot...
