I can sympathize. My English Billiards learning has not progressed at the 'lightning-fast' pace I'd hoped for (though my 3 cushion game really wasn't strong enough for me to legitimately hope it would. Still, would have been nice :smile: )

I blame the rails!

Yeah, I got cocky, too. I can go twice around the table and come in dead on the ball - really, how hard could it be to keep the three balls basically together? And I have to really think about every shot so as not to drive one of the balls to where I can't get it back. It's even more frustrating than 3C. Once you lose control of the balls, it over. Even if you make the next point by luck, you end up even worse than before.
