Jump tip diameter?

I have had numerous jump cues, break cues, and break/jump cues
For me, the tip diameter of my break cue is rather irrelevant, as long as it works well on that cue. At the moment my break cue has a 14mm purpleheart shaft with a phenolic tip/ferrule combo on it
as for jump cues, that depends alot on your jumping style. If you jump balls to make a legit hit then a larger (flatter) tip size will suite you well, if you jump to make balls a 13ish mm tip with around a nickel works very well, but if you consider yourself a jump expert and play shape out of jump shots, or play jump safes often, then I recommend a 12.5mm shaft with a dime radius on it.
My current jump cue is a 3 piece jump cue with a 12.6mm shaft and a G10 tip/ferrule combo
