Junior Amateur Tournament in Houston, Tx. Suggestion.

I am thinking of hosting a tournament in Houston, TX for Junior pool players... meaning ONLY college students and under can play in this tournament. It will be handicapp. (A race to 9, B-7, C-5) If you don't know what rank your in, you will be put as a B and be checked periodically during game time. ALL college, highschool, middle school age are welcomed to play.

July 28th - Saturday
Entry fee is $35 including green fee.
Payout based on 40 players, Top 6 payout.
1st - $460
2nd - 230
3rd - 145
4th - 80
5th - 50
6th - 35

Tournament can last all day but if alot of players show up then it will be schedualed for next day.

I am still looking for a pool hall that can I can rent out for cheap!
Also looking for any sponsors... winner wins a cue OR money added.

Would anyone be interested to come down and play in this tournament, meaning out of state players and in state? If you have faith in your kids or know someone and would be interested to come down and play in this. LET THEM KNOW! PLEASE. Get Landon Shuffett to come, Anyone!

sounds like a nice effort , can I suggest an age cutoff instead of "college students" and down , a senior could be 23 years old , so "Junior Tournament" may not fit.

I was going to ask for student ID but age thing sounds right.

Ages 25 and below or Amateur tournament.
