Need some advice from the experts (or atleast experienced)...

My company, Zim's Rack, offers cue repair, tournaments, leagues and merchandise sales. I'm constantly sending my table recover customers to other companies, I'm tired of sending them elsewhere!

What are the recommended tools and equipment to recover pool tables? (Slate lifter, Stapler, stable remover, adhesive, etc)

I have helped recover 2 pool tables, so I have a little idea how to get the job done. I'm just looking to get the job done right by myself and want to have the correct equipment.

Thanks in advance,
Zim

not to be mean, but my guess is that you won't get a reply....
i'm not a mechanic but use this forum to service my own table

the info is all in this forum and you have to search every inch of it. Then start asking questions.

here is what i would say is a must: machinest level, stapler, 3m-10 glue, carpenters level, staple remover, bondo, razor scraper, mini belt sander, heat gun, vise grip cloth stretchers....

but what you do with the tools is probably more important than the tools you have.

I couldn't agree more' if a guy was to read every post and reply from the start of this area that he would be very well educated about pool table service in general..
It has took many of us a long-long time to get the knowledge we have and it wasn't acquired over night...

Thanx- Ive been on the forum for a long time & understand theres alot of useful info on here. I didnt ask for help on how to, just what equipment/tools are recommended.
I will continue my quest!
