Exactly! And that is the reason why I was lamenting about the non-serious consideration of the posts (see my 1st post). Tell you what. Here's what has been attained by our fledgling group while all this turmoil is going on and these may have gone unnoticed.beav99_4life said:I understand that, but what i'm saying is that they can set up the best standards that meet the needs of the players, the tours and the fans, but it wont matter until the pro tours are well-established and under credible leadership. Its disorganization at its worst.
The BMPAP was recognized by the Philippine Government as a Professional Pool Organization on Feb 08, 2008. To date, we're just going on 4 months of our existance but in that timespan we've held 8 lower-ranked pro tournaments and 2 elite-pro major tournaments (3 had it not been for the World 8Ball in Fujairah). Have signed agreements for major tournaments to be held in major cities of the Philippines to 2010. Negotiated and recieved confirmation(document recieved lst night) of televised event coverage for the above plus TV coverage for the upcoming (starts September 2008) Professional Pool League, the NBL. Upcoming too and with the event venues and schedule of festivities being readied are the Sen. Manny Villar Cup-Cebu Leg (21-24June2008), Sen. Manny Villar Cup-Davao Kadayawan Festival http://www.lakbaypilipinas.com/kadayawan_festival.html Leg (16-23Aug2008) and the Dumaguete International 9-Ball Open with US$30k 1st Prize in Oct 2008.
In the works, 6 world-class level tournaments in formats namely8,9 & 10Ball, Scotch Doubles, Rotation and team. TV coverage, Live webstreaming so the whole world can join the fun and venues identified and being readied.
Do you think that the above addresses your concern?
