Good looking, unique cue.

I'd try to brighten up the shadows just a bit. Good job with minimizing the reflections.

I'd also take a crop of the grip area to show the nice variety of wood.

Thanks Korsakoff! How did you crop(?) my image and show just the handle area, enlarged? I don't see tools like that here. Did you use third party photo editing software?

That's a good question, and yes, I used Photoshop. I'm a hobbyist with Photoshop for about 25 years.

On an iPhone, I'd duplicate the picture first. Then, I'd crop the copy. I think there is some sizing capability. But, if you just experiment with the stock tools on an iPhone, you can reduce shadows, enhance contrast, sharpen, etc. - all the things I can do quicker in Photoshop. But, you can do the same things with an iPhone. It just takes practice.

Feel free to reach out about anything you can't figure out yourself.

Thanks, men! I don't have an I phone, but I do have an old desktop with photoshop elements 11, which I have a little familiarity with. The pics above were taken with an android phone and a digital camera. I downsized them using photoshop and test posted the pics to compare them. Those images will work for my purposes, but now I see that I can improve the images by using photoshop before downsizing, including adding text, which I wish to do (just learned that last night). Thanks for opening my eyes, and I will reach out if questions arise.
