Basement is essentially done, it's been a year since carpet went down and furniture moved in but like many home projects they get put on the back burner. Ive enjoyed the table and had great deal of fun thus far. I have one good friend whose skills match my own well enough to have some good low dollar fun. I designed and built my own LED light, built in cue case and very pleased with the results of both.

The table plays well enough to enjoy, issues that can be directly related to the dolts that installed it. Cushions are 95% perfect, 5% is loose rubber, it happens about once an hour, you'll hit a spot on the rail and a the nice thump is replaced with a little clicking sound. one slate seems to have shifted up just slightly, enough that if you rub a ball over the seam it's noticeable and one pocket is a fickle miserable *****. The rubber was cut a little off and rejects most anything that doesn't go in cleanly. Makes me concentrate but it is an annoyance.

I am missing the rack holder under the ball box, I had it, then put it "somewhere safe" Where that safe place is... still a mystery.

One day I'll get back on here asking how to fix my slate and who should put my new rubber on but for now its home table that plays great, not perfect but great.

Looks great! And I share your pain re: installation by dolts. An all-too-common story.

I like your light. Can you provide details on its construction? Thanks for the photos, looks like a really nice room.

I should post a thread in regard to its construction. I have limited skills in this matter but an overload of confidence, thinking to myself if someone else can do it certainly I can figure it out. I started out with a pre finished wood shelf that can bought at lowes. I bought some LED strip lights and applied them. I played with it like that for a couple months. I knew it wasnt bright enough but I was stuck. A friend came over and suggested some technical LED stuff... I had no idea what he was talking about. I said Id take any help he could offer. A few days later he showed up at my house with two 6 foot custom soldered rails of industrial 24V LED tracks, Wow!? They were awesome. Although so bright it was hard to look directly at them. Then I applied some prefinished foam 4" base board to skirt the top to hide the two transformers on top then some 6" crown molding to act as a shade. Miraculously it all worked out. I have about $85 in everything for the light. The industrial LEDs were a gift. no idea what those might cost.

Your pool room looks absolutely great!!!! What would it take to get you over here to make mine look nice? I am not really that far from you.:)

Very Nice Room

I like your room. It's simple, clean, and the table is well-lit. I also like you built-in cue rack. That is a nice touch.
