Justin Bergman has spent decades proving that calm nerves and relentless precision are a force no opponent can melt away (which has earned him the nickname ICEBERG).

Justin's understated power and precision at the table align perfectly with Viking's philosophy: quality built to perform when it matters most. His feedback will shape the equipment we build for players who demand reliability under pressure.

He is testing a few different Viking butts right now in some different build constructions as well as carbon shafts - he'll make the full transition to Viking product as soon as he is 100% comfortable and can play at his elite level.

Viking making some moves, I love to see it, especially since they're local to me.

Fedor, Margaret, Moritz, and now Bergman. They really seem to be committed to building a solid roster and reinvigorating the brand. Got to see Moritz testing different shafts at my local spot with some of the Viking crew over the winter, was cool, will have to keep an eye out for Bergman visiting the area now too.

Their cues are reasonably priced, too.

And the performance reviews for both their wood and carbon shafts seem to be excellent.

Yeah, a basic Viking was my first cue way back in the early 2000's. I haven't used one since, they had a period where they made a lot of pretty unattractive cues IMO, but they're putting out some really good looking cues today at all price points. They still have some that are very much not my style but things like the Ariel Carmeli Diamond collection are awesome on the high end and then they have a nice variety of cues that highlight the various woods in the $400-600 range that I would be happy to play.

I'm hoping to get a chance to try their Carmeli collab cues at some point, those are very intriguing to me and some of the best looking cues I've ever seen from Viking.

Crazy, hes played with that Lomax for 15+ years.

Viking doesnt have a kielwood shaft in their lineup, seems like a golden opportunity to start with the perfect player to endorse it.

Was coming here to say thee same thing. Couldn't believe he's making the switch but good for him, glad he's going all in on pool.

Great news for Justin, happy for him.

Looks like he's joining the ranks of Gorst, Margaret Styer and Neuhausen, who are all sponsored by Viking.
