This is a follow up to my previous announcment regarding the newly designed multi-function lite-weight case with new interior similar to the 2 x 4 previously shown. I call it multi-function for lack of a better description and would appreciate some feed back on giving it a proper name.

The case will accommodate the following cues and weighs in at 5 lbs. 5 ozs.
This is a full 24 ounces lighter than the tube type 3 x 6 case yet is much more versatile. No price increase at this time. Case comes standard with lid, handle and shoulder strap, choice of 2 -8" or 1-16" pocket, choice of colors within reason, solid brass hardware and a lifetime warranty. $500 including UPS shipping.

3 butts - 10 shafts
4 butts - 8 shafts
5 butts - 6 shafts

Best regards,
Jack

Hey Jack

I currently have one of your 3x6s and I never thought weight was an issue especially compared to your competetion. But after looking at your pictures my question is since it is tubeless, will you have to alternate shafts(2 up, 2 down) like the old Georges without the collars being pressed together? Thanks Jack, love your cases!

My Question is DOES the CASE HAVE A PVC liner Top to Botton like a Oval PVC Tube under the LEATHER.... To give the Case STRENTH

Bruce,
Jack posted a pic of the oval tube, in the other thread.

No, they will go in either way but we have always recommrnded putting rubber bumper down and tips down. In case you drop the case, your protecting the pin and shaft colar. Just common sense. I agree that my tube cases were a little lighter than the competition but I still got a lot of request to make them lighter still. Appreciate your kind words.

Pardon my ignorance Jack, but is that PVC liner fitted as a thin ring as pictured at the top and bottom to give it shape, or does it run the whole lenght of the case and that ring is just a photo of a cut-off piece?

Additionally is the choice of how many butts/shafts made at point of purchase or are they modifiable by the user after construction?

Of course it runs the full length of the case. I just sawed off a piece to show the shape and size of the tube. What you see is what you get in both the 2 x 4 case and the multifunction case as far as interiors go.

Jack,
How do you come up with these numbers,
3 butts - 10 shafts
4 butts - 8 shafts
5 butts - 6 shafts,
for a case , that has 9 compartments?
I hope, that this is not a stupid question. ;)
