Are you taking any orders for changes to existing cases? I've got one that I bought with a name on it that I would like covered.

I am currently not taking on any additional work at this time. This is something you may be able to do relatively inexpensive if your handy with an Exacto and a little patient.

First, go to Tandy's and pick up a small piece of Python or other type skin large enough to cover the name. Measure the height and length of the inscription then add 1/4" to both length and height. This is the final size to cover the name leaving a border to show on the name plate.

Lay the skin on the name and mask off the name plate with low tack tape (blue or green). This makes it easier when applying the contact cement to the name plate. Using Weldwood contact cement from Home Depot or Lowe's, apply a thin coat to the masked area of the name plate and the back of the skin. Let dry for about 5 minutes and very carefully align the skin over the name. You only get one chance since the contact cemented surfaces very aggressively hold on to each other once contact is made. Smooth out and apply pressure to create a good bond, remove the tape and your done.

Its not as bad as it might seem and your cost would be around $20.
