Kamui Black Clear Manual Installation. Help.

Hi guys.

I going to buy a new product from Kamui, Kamui Black Clear.
With that new plastic base.

I always used to buy KB tips and install them on my own, manualy, without lathe.

But now I woundering if it is still possible to do it without lathe?
- because they made this new tips with a plastic base.

Or that plastic base is soft enought to cut it by knife ?

Did anyone tried to install them manualy ?

My ferule is 12,75 mm, so I always used to buy 14mm and cut it to spot point
Will it help if I buy 13mm ?

I install few of them manualy. I cut it with razor blade with no problem.

you'll need your knife to be sharp and better with stiff blade rather than flexible one. Once you cut off the excess you can trim the tip edges further with a file and/or sandpaper as usual.
